Learn the basics of the powerful business accounting software QuickBooks to operate a small to medium-sized business as well as small non-profit organizations. Course instruction will guide you through the process of setting up your business and understanding the many options and features that QuickBooks offers. The course will focus on transactions, invoicing customers and paying bills. Generating financial reports and reconciling monthly bank statements will also be discussed. Students will be encouraged to use their own businesses if possible as in class projects.
This is a hands-on class using the QuickBooks software. Therefore, we recommend that everyone have a copy of QuickBooks installed on their home computer before the class begins. If you use QuickBooks on a laptop and want to bring it with you, that's OK.
