An introductory chemistry course designed for students needing one full credit of high school chemistry as a prerequisite for further study. The course will include lectures, lab work and problem-solving. A writing component will be integrated to ensure academic success at the post secondary level. High school algebra is recommended for this class. If you have not had any basic algebra, you should take an algebra class before you register for Chemistry.

Course fee includes $15 lab fee (non- refundable).  THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $50 TEXTBOOK DEPOSIT DUE AT THE FIRST CLASS.  Textbook deposit will be refunded when the book is returned at the end of the course. The course is free for college transitions students.
